Good morning everyone, it is yet another night another blog, if I were honest with you I don’t particularly want to do this now – I am fucking tired! Tonight started out as every other night, signed in, got my radio, said hello to my boys – then have a general walk around the venue, see the familiar faces look up and nod in acknowledgement, even the fact that i’m there beings a smile to their face. That is a nice feeling, to know that people appreciate you being there in the first place, the majority of people know full well that doorman would rather be on the other end of the bar drinking beer with mates and not have to deal with the pissheads and the riff raff that waddle in every 5 mintues.
Nothing Special, Normal Security Job
Well, here I go again, another night on the doors, another blog being written. It turned out to be one of those rare nights where literally nothing happened, everyone was on good behaviour, and the people that we wanted out just walked out no problem at all, pretty strange for a Saturday night.
The night started off as normal, signed in, met the boys, got my radio, took my static position where I would remain for an hour or two and thats pretty much it. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few lads misbehaving slightly, there was a group that were chanting football songs, something that I hate if i’m honest with you, nothing annoys me more than that as the majority of the time they are the ones that cause all the trouble.

An Ordinary Night
Well, this is my first blog, it is now 02:40 in the morning and I have not long got in from work. It has been a long day for a start, considering I also have a day job – so pulling 60+ hours a week is normal for me.
I did dissapear for a bit to get some food, it is now 03:00 and still awake and getting cold! I managed to get away early for the night, I was due to stay on a little later than normal as one of the other doormen had get away early for something, but in the end he didn’t bother – so good for me!!
